The week flew by.....grind never stops....basic things every missionary says haha.

Argentina is so weird, but I´m learning to love it more every day. The one thing that I might not get over is how many freaking dogs there are that just walk around.

Funny story:

Juan and Cecilia have a dog named Negra and she follows us around EVERYWHERE!  We go teach in the morning, and she follows after us.  We can't get rid of her and yet we can't leave her alone outside or she´ll get lost.  So last night she had to spend the night in our pension so she wouldn't get lost.  She´s a cutie but she smells like up dog so it's a struggle haha.

This week was up and down.  Thursday was terrible as none of our lessons went good at all.  No one would listen to our message, just a bad day.  I´m grateful God is merciful because Friday was amazing!
We went to a zone meeting and then after went to go teach this guy Esteban.  We contacted him before Agustin's baptism and he watched it and wanted to be baptized!  Funny enough, he was with his friend who was taking the lessons, but got lost when a white wash was done in our area so we found him and just a great lesson!  We are going to follow up with both of them to see if they will follow Christ's example and be baptized. Fingers crossed! :)

After meeting with Esteban and his friend, we went to the church because we had to go to the bathroom.  While we were walking out, some non-member chicos wanted to play basketball! ;)  We played and after gave them a mini lesson.  Now we are going to teach them every Friday after we play ball!  The rest of the day was a success, as we worked with our progressing investigators.

I know that this church is true. God gives us hard times so that we can be humble and so we can turn to Him.  It´s a lot easier to be humble than to be compelled to be humbled as my mama always says!  When the hard times come, turn to Jesus Christ, our savior, brother, and friend.  He will carry us. He has carried me. Thanks for all your prayers, as I feel the love :)

Love,
Elder Pomar

PS: The photos of me in the bus are so funny. this guy literally gave me no personal space as he just reclined his seat all the way into my lap so I couldn't get out....man Argentines are weird.
